Thanksgiving dinner at Morton's with Bevan Cellars...doesn't get any better than this. Last bottle of this vintage. Has held up well but was time to drink. Dry cork broke. Lots of sediment. Wish I had more. Steak Diane, no turkey.

The cork was questionable in comparison to the last bottle, but didn't seem to matter. Lovely nose filled with flowers but you can really feel the heat of the 15.5% alcohol. Nice tar and smoke on the palate, and an extremely long finish! Probably drank this just in time!

Back to back with Ramey 05 larkmead and this was nice but still a little hot. Needs more time in the cellar. Looking forward to 3-5 years...

Outstanding for the first effort from Russell. It's the wine that punched me in the teeth and made a me huge fan of Bevan Cellars. Still beautiful today. #epiphanywine
