Awesome. Herbaceous and minty but lush and textural. Rivals champagne for sure, with a little something extra and unusual that the latter can’t provide. — 5 years ago

This Lombardian white wine opens with a floral nose, which is quickly joined by the scent of apricots and grapefruit. There is an overriding sense of salinity, with a touch of lanolin as well. On the palate, that salinity comes bursting forth in a nutty, mineral-driven flavor. The acidity is racy enough for shellfish but not sharp enough to hurt the taste buds. If you’d like a wine which comes on like an Albariño and then behaves like a Roussanne before becoming a Sauvignon Blanc, this wine should make you happy. It made me ecstatic. — 5 years ago

How to create this taste from merlot and CS. Of course, it contains a bit another grape. But mainly process is a bit different. Dry up in open door room for 2 months. So the taste is condensed, a bit sweet. But and also Lychee taste derived from its terroir. I am confused with mixed with white originally though. Amazing aroma and flavor. @2100, X, 171110 — 9 years ago

love this rich wine! body and citrus flavors — 5 years ago
My first Turbiana, or Trebbiano di Lugana but genetically a Verdicchio.
Nose of ripe stone fruits, lemon zest, wet stone, light white floral, and hint of almond. Medium to full body. Firm, vivid acidity provides good tension to the otherwise textured palate, finished with a medium mineral note.
This old vine riserva bottling is like a hybrid between Napa chard and Chablis. Will need to taste more Turbiana. — 6 years ago
Just opened the 2017 tonight. Very nice, light, crisp. Had with sautéed chicken and tabuleh salad. Delicious. Highly recommend. — 8 years ago

Very nice and unusual white. Turbiana from near lake Garda. Odd grape - seems like we don’t know if it’s really trebbiano or Verdicchio. Salty and acidic in a good way. Quite a good value. — 3 years ago
