Excellent meal, great wine and a great view of the town square on a beautiful summer day. This wine takes me back to that day. Out of all the inexpensive loire roses this year, this pinot noir is probably my favorite. It offers all of that loire funkiness, minerallity and drive but backs it up with ample cherry fruit flavors. Don't think too hard about it...
