Saw an ‘08, so I grabbed it and wanted to see how it tasted. Founded by Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle and her husband Cyril de Bournet in 1994. The Marnier Lapostolle family are founders and owners of the world-renowned liqueur Grand Marnier. A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Carmenere, dark red almost purple with berry fruit and lively citrus notes. Raspberry and blackberry flavors with cacao and cedar tones, well balanced, full ripe tannins. Lingering finish ending with oak and fruit notes. Still tasting well! — 7 years ago

Note : Yes, this rosé is orange! But only for the 2016 which is a marvel! Unfortunately no longer available for sale (I took the last 12 bottles...). A fruity nose on apricot (hmmmmmm), citrus fruits like peach and roundness tied to Pinot Noir. In the mouth, very greedy and more complex than a simple rosé of Provence. We can feel the intensity of the pinot that stands out. Always a delight to taste. — 7 years ago
