Really, really lovely. Mellow tones of hibiscus and almond, with just enough citrus to prevent complacency. The way I would like to feel for the next four years. It has some harsh reviews but I quite like this wine. 80% Pinot pressed immediately off skins, fermented separately from the 20% Chardonnay which underwent battonage and malo. Peaches and strawberries with a dash of creamy vanilla. Plenty up front and has a decent length finish but I feel it loses its mid palate a bit. Would drink again, however the price is pretty steep — 10 years ago

3009 Foja Tonda is a very rare grape saved from oblivion by Albino Armani 25 years ago. Full body and taste, still in search of elegance, but aging time will help. Red fruits taste and long finish are a good plus. Very good. — 12 years ago
