A deep purplish red, opaque, slightly orange rim. Light cherry nose and palate, some waxiness, and a hint of mustiness. Quite balanced with low acidity, medium+ tannins. Approachable, ready, but not lengthy. Paired great with veal in red sauce. I would everyone within range to come to CuVino and checkout @Ralph DiBiasi stellar Italian wine list!

I was a little disappointed by the bottle, I think it was a little over the hill. The fruit and tannins were still pretty good but the acidity was waning so it didn’t have much structure/complexity. Could’ve just been the bottle. — 6 years ago
