Dark berries, violets, forest floor and pepper leap from the glass. Blackberry bramble, leather, plum and roasted meat fills out the palate. The 2013 is still pretty tight - I'd say should really come into its prime in 2019-2020. — 8 years ago

Sept 28, 2019. J2’s 5th bonus year celebration. Found this rare grape at our small town local grocery (???). My first Chatus experience. Lovely. Deep red, almost black in color. Tart cherries, nice finish. — 6 years ago
