Light Ruby, aged for 8 months in 30% new oak, with aromas of red fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry, strawberry and sweet currants with notes of cacao and earthy notes. Never been a big fan, wish I was. But they do a nice Cab Franc. OK, I have learned - let breath, even decant, for 2-3 hrs. The longer the better. It really was burn at first, but give it some time, and it really popped. Smooth, dark berries, touch of funk, a little earth, iron, leather - all the nice things you expect from a Cab. Next time I'll know better, and open sooner. — 8 years ago
