This prosecco is clear and pale lemon in colour.
The nose is clean and pronounced with aromas of pear, green apple, melon, peach, honeysuckle and acacia.
On the palate it is dry with high acid, low alcohol, medium body and a medium (+) intensity similar to that of the nose. It has a long finish and is very elegant.
I think this is an outstanding wine with well defined floral and fruity characters. — 9 years ago

Consistent quality, I always get the wine that I expected from this label. Easy, bright, fruity, yummy, delicious wine. This is type of the wine that I want to introduce people. Easy, approachable price too. — 5 years ago
From the east hill, pignolo, 2008. A rare grape a lovely deep coloured, aromatic wine with abit of raisin sweet, a bit of souple leather and a slight alcoholic kick that resembles grappa. — 6 years ago

WE says it's a 94. Maybe someday, but it needs years to soften up. — 9 years ago
Very pale lemon color with aromas and flavors of ripe yellow apple, pear, lemon, peach, yellow plum, hay, and white pepper, anda great impression of ripe fruit. The finish is very long and harmonious, with great finesse and balance among the fruit and floral notes — 6 years ago

An incredible wine with tons of potential but so closed at the moment. Bone dry, laser acidity with a s***load of power but never heavy. Super long finish. Dark, deep and mysterious. Like Pechstein always is.
Mathieu Kaufmann, the cellar master of von Buhl told us to let this Baby sleep for ten years. But then it will blow your mind. I'm 100% sure. Buhl did an amazing job in the last years after the big "change" in the winery. This Pechstein is the perfect proof. Well done! — 9 years ago

A stately, well-structured red from Friuli. This one had the maturity and mellow character of a wine almost a decade old. The tannins, though no doubt softened over the years, provided enough structure to allow this schioppettino to continue ageing, even if only for a couple more years. Blueberries and vanilla were present on the nose, whereas the palate presented flavors of prunes, raisins, plums, and a hint of tobacco. Very happy to have procured this bottle; it was a great pairing for our Easter leg of lamb! 100% Schioppettino. 4/17/22. — 4 years ago
