Oh heck. I wish I had more. I don't know Aussie wine but don't think that would make a big diff in how to interpret this oner. It is an individual and a nice one at that.
It is smooth and merlot Berry then POW there are your Gewurtztraminer spices and whoa. Despite my hatred of the color of yellow I can dig it. Yowza. — 9 years ago

2014 - Wonderfully perfumed nose of wild bramble fruit, pure blackcurrant, rhubarb crumble, plum and stoney soil, picking up some wood spice with a bit of air. Less expressive on the palate, honest, sturdy with a zesty red and blue fruit acidity, firm tannin that backs up the black cherry skin and tart black fruited finish. Enjoyed this chilled. Unfiltered and cloudy in the glass. It kinda makes me think of Asian fruits or smoothies and durian but in a good way. Nice acidity and a lime juice-like citrus character. Sort of Grapefruity. I can't quite wrap my head around this wine at the moment but I rather enjoy it! — 9 years ago

This is fantastic, pure fresh natty wine. Like susucaru made of pinot. Glorious and without SO2 of course, so just drink it, not a long term ager, and so good now. Just got this in the mail today and Pobega'd it. — 6 years ago
