4th wine of the night. Opened 6 hours prior and this vintage is in full stride. Simply beautiful and drinking very, very well. Definitely pick up in the dark fruit, mocha and espresso. Loved it!! May I have some more please!! — 10 years ago

And Abel said to Cain.."Hey quit trying to one up me all the time and buy some Napa varietals, blend them perfectly and come up with one of the finest Meritage's around."
And Cain said.."you're such a colossal pain in the ass. What? Cain Five wasn't good enough? You have to have a totally accessible Cab blend with the slightest amount of Petit Verdot to balance things out and keep the fruit under control? Seriously? You have to have a great wine that's ready to go right now? Okey Dokey! And here's some more lamb."

Light Pinot Noir. Shared with Liz Abel based on Charlie's recommendation. Fruit forward and tart with a dry finish. — 11 years ago
Really interstesting. Nose of tomatoey beef stew. Bright acid lifted finish. Good time to drink this vintage. — 11 years ago
Beautiful wine for less than 15 bucks. — 10 years ago
I am not a great fan of Malbec, but this specimen explodes with strong scents of red fruit and lots of character. There is a strong undertone of ascent I can't quite place, but I am leaning towards vanilla. Full bodied, with medium tannins, the red fruits continue on the palate, with tangy aftertaste and long finish. — 10 years ago
Very reasonable Champagne, dry not too fizzy, soft — 10 years ago

Top of the line. — 11 years ago
Ripe plum, lightest hint of white pepper, floral aromatics. Made with Abel, 5, 667 and 777 clones. The tannins are very refined but and not very present initially but hang in a pleasantly ling lingering experience. This wine is ready for sure but may have another interesting 5 years ahead of it. — 11 years ago
Really good crémant de Bordeaux — 12 years ago
Bam! Holy crap. One sniff and this wine captivates you. Incredibly beautiful, floral, whole cluster Pinot nose. I just kept smelling it and forgot to actually drink it for a while. Elegance and finesse are what I smelled, but the palate had the structure/seriousness/power Otago Pinot is known for but harnesses and refined.
No sulfur(maybe a bit at bottling). 100% whole-cluster, carbonic, Abel clone. — 10 years ago
Capa y densidad media baja, en nariz buena potencia, frutas rojas, notas de humo. En boca muy buena entrada, frutal paso equilibrado y un final rico con presencia de vainillas y especias. — 10 years ago
Acacia flower, jasmine on the nose, acid is softer and you expect it to taste sweeter than it is. Very enjoyable wine. — 10 years ago

The boss assigned this bottle as homework for the weekend. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, lavender, spice, chalk, and more. Soft tannins, with good body and a long, contemplative finish. Damn. — 11 years ago
A nice dry Italian refreshing example — 11 years ago
