Was gifted a 2011 and loved it. Lovely medium bodied heavy berry. Don't normally drink Aust. But love this one. Superb label design as well. — 8 years ago

In a word, the 2009 vintage AR Lenoble Blanc de Noir is stunning. 100% pinot noir from the 1er Cru village of Bisseuil, 28% of which was aged in wood. This gives the wine an appealingly spice character and lusciously round body. The wine remains elegant and supple without a trace of heaviness. Baked apple, crisp acidity and vibrant berry fruit fill out the palate impression. Delicious. — 9 years ago

Pretty darn good. Not sure how it's "intense" but I'll happily have another glass. Or bottle. — 7 years ago
Still lively. All the components I like in an older bubbly - some underlying fruit but also a richness provided by secondary notes of roasted nuts, butter, and toffee. Wonderful! — 8 years ago
This wine packs a punch! Pungent upon smell and going down, but man oh man do I love it. Sweaty socks is right. I don't usually go for a gamay, but this ones my jam. — 8 years ago
Champagne more on the elegant if lighter style. Nice light citrusy notes, plenty of fruit - especially at mid-palate, where toasty flavors blend in nicely. Fruit falls off through the finish, but there's still a nice long aftertaste. — 9 years ago
Starting to become a great producer at every level in my opinion. Fresh and lively and joyous to drink — 8 years ago
Delicious! Doesn't get much better for a wine under $10 — 8 years ago
Blanc de blanc- linear - trace of toast — 8 years ago
The dryness, tannins & acidity of this wine paired well with braised short ribs. The ribs were accompanied by polenta & salad with Meyer Lemon vinaigrette. Very important pairing note - balancing acidity to cut richness but still give a pleasant mouth - feel. 2006 vintage - Floral notes weren't dominant for us. — 8 years ago
White - Another fantastic wine from Lopez de Heredia, aged for six years in barrel a wonderful vintage that aged greatly, light waxy and oxydation notes - always happy to get this great classics from one of the best traditional producer of Rioja :) — 9 years ago

Really solid wine, especially for the price point. Great alternative to The Prisoner or Papillon if you're on a budget. — 7 years ago
