Great with Jazz and a Caesar salad. — 10 years ago
Warm fruit on the nose that combines with a velvety palate of berries and licorice.. Elegant, flavorful and in a good place right now but will age.. — 10 years ago

Delicious with a roast - very nice Barbera — 8 years ago
Beautiful color. Nice acid and full leather could probably hold another 5 years but with a little air it is beautiful! — 9 years ago
Floral and feminine but excellent structure. This is a wine made with kindness, and you can taste it. Exceptional. — 10 years ago
This may be my favorite all time wine. Slightly sweet, yet savory, with a luscious mouth feel. — 10 years ago
A bit of spice in a barbera — 11 years ago
Such a great lil wine. Ripe cherries, pops of raspberry, followed by waves of tobacco and sweet-wood smoke. Bright acidity, backed by just the right amount of structure. — 8 years ago
Really nice wine specially with a piece of meet — 9 years ago
Dark rich nose of toffee and plums. A bit floral. On the palate lighter than you would expect from an Amarone, but pleasant with a grip at the finish. — 9 years ago
Shared a 26-year-old wine with Matt and Kim. Opened up nicely with a bit of leather and nice fruit. — 10 years ago
When a woman makes wine !! Floral, fruity, almost silky .. Firm tanins, a great wine. — 10 years ago
Very light, pretty ruby color. Tart and acidic with a mild smooth tannic finish, could drink a bunch of this! — 10 years ago
So sad, our last meal @inoteca. '96 Borgogno Riserva and truffled egg toast make for a marvelous send-off! Thank you 'inoteca! #inotecalastsip — 11 years ago
Narun P
100% Nebbiolo
Bricked purple. Opaque, non transparent. Compact rim. Looks its age.
Aromas full of earthy characters. Black truffle, ashes, damp soil, wet rotten woods, with licorice flavored coffee, slight hint of dark chocolate.
Structurally, this wine has a long way to go yet. Substantial but completely integrated tannin, medium to med full body (14.5 abv), medium to med plus acidity, dry. Dried black cherry, fig, prune and plum. Fine texture. Mineral and ashy notes. Dusty. Balanced, carrying through from the first sip until the finish. Last very long on that enticing dried fruit and ashy profile.
At a great place to drink now. At $30+ in NYC, this's got to be my find of the year so far. Amazing bottle. Loved by everyone I shared with. 92. — 8 years ago
