Right now I rated it a 9.0 but maybe if I had let it open up it would have a higher rate. This came highly recommended from the guy at the wine store. It's a full bodied wine with a deep red color. Cherry and raspberry on the nose. Slightly tannic and acidic. — 8 years ago

What a wine! Full bodied, heavy tannins. Very well balanced. More dark berry notes than the Samarassa 2011, with a smooth transition to vanilla, black pepper and tobacco notes. Much less liquorice than the Samarassa. Overall, fantastic wine with a lot of complexity. — 8 years ago
