Delicious and smooth. A wonderful blend of 71% Syrah, 16% Grenache, 8% Zinfandel, 3% Petite Sirah, 2% Mourvèdre. — 8 years ago
To me this ranks with the fantastic 67 and 71. Amazing. — 9 years ago
A beautiful old white tawny port - rich, it offers notes of prune and figs, almost light oxidation like madeira wine - an expressive citric acidity mark, fruity with great length, it is elegant and intense, light volatile character - a brilliant port 😋👏 #winelover #portwineday — 10 years ago
Once again 71 riche came out ahead of 71 tache. The wine kept opening. Luscious fruit that was secondary but still with a lot of power — 10 years ago

The 2012 Tlo Tempranillo is an impeccable wine, laced with aromas of cola, leather, fresh tobacco leaves, and juicy strawberry. Taste savory, bold flavors including dark cherry, smoked raspberry, cedar, plum, currants and dark chocolate. Layers of holiday spices, like cinnamon and nutmeg along with white pepper linger on your palate well after your last sip. This wine has excellent acidity with a silky texture to last through 2020. 92 points from Central Coast Wine Competition

Had this in a goldkapsel vertical that included the '71, '95, '01, and '05. This was a bit oxidized. — 8 years ago
The second wine this afternoon enjoyed by a close friend and myself was the 2010 Chateau LaConfession St.Emillion Grand Cru.
The nose has savory notes of bing cherries, blackberry, stone, vanilla and smoke.
On the first sip gave notes of black cherry, blackberry, spice, mocha, coffee and a herbaceous note that I really like.
This wine has medium + acidity with medium + fine tannins that fill out the mouth nicely. This offering is 71% Merlot and 29% Cabernet Franc a typical right bank blend.
A very nice continuation of a wonderful afternoon with a close dear friend.

Medium to rich palate - Oak influence apparent. More in balance with the oak than previous Delectable note 71 weeks ago. Now exhibiting a mouth perfume of Rose. Can’t see it gaining more complexity with cellaring but it is a tasty wine. Drink last one up to 6 months. — 7 years ago
