Pleasant aperitif. Moscato style presumably from Muscat grape, but varietals in blend not specified. A low alcohol (7.5), little sweet and little sparkling, fruit-forward wine. — 7 years ago
A lip smaker, lovely with our crab cakes. — 9 years ago
Famous #australian #riesling from the #clarevalley made by #accolade company #leasingham . From the hot season of #2003 though mot looking shabby; pale gold yes; spice and restraint not strong kero or honey; backward a little; evolving fruit; blessed by screwcap; 12.5%. — 10 years ago
2012 enjoyed in April 2015. Dark ruby in color with a slight sunset around the edge. Chalky/earth & plum jam nose. Soft tannins and a slight chewy fruit... finish gives you a little jawlock with every taste. Takes an hour or two to open up. Great value at $14 bucks (HEB R/S) — 11 years ago

Black cherries, cloves, leather and tar. It's a ripe, overt Napa Cab that has an attractive balance and surprisingly silly tannins. Approachable now but would be happy to cellar this for a while longer.
Enjoyed at Simon and The Whale in NYC paired with the Simon Burger, which was beautifully prepared, if rather fussy with endless aiolis and such like. — 7 years ago
Solera vintages: 2005-2013, Dégorgement: 01/2016, Dosage: 0-4g/l, All 7 Cépage, this is so interesting, screaming acidity, beautiful development & layers of complexity, outstanding wine. — 9 years ago
Deep ruby red with some garnet edges. Powerful still on the nose and palate. Tons of baking spices on the nose, especially cinnamon, dark red berries, and a touch savory. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Layers of spices and dark red berries on the palate. Long and lingering finish. Great structure and still has life left in it. Drink till 2022. — 9 years ago

Sette Ponti or "seven bridges," refers to the 7 bridges crossing the Arno River on the road from Arezzo to Florence. Blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cab Sauv & 10% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in new French oak. Went to a tasting, had ‘14 & ‘15 side by side. Very dark enticing red with concentrated aromas of dark fruits & earthy notes. Flavors of cherry & plum with tobacco and spice. Firm but approachable tannins, medium length ending with a bit of spice as the finish builds. Best to drink ‘14 now. Tasting Sample. — 7 years ago

Yes. Yes! YES!!! — 8 years ago
Well-fruited nose with grapefruit first on the palate with some slate. Still sharp-ish. Needs time. €17 at cellar door. Tasted in May in Ayl. — 9 years ago
A wine with the 'yummie' factor, drinks like limonade (in positive sense), playful and elegant. — 11 years ago

Prefer the 6 to the 7, but it’s splitting hairs - they’re both great. Could smell this 5 feet away, tremendous structure and will only get better. — 6 years ago
