Occhipinti's Uncle is the 'O' on COS - 40-60 Frappato/Nero D'Avola. Little bit of funkiness to it, sour cherries and cranberries on the palate, but it smooths out after being open for a little bit. Really nice rustiness with a little fruitiness to finish. Aged in terra cotta pots partially underground. — 10 years ago
