The Emirates flight crew altered me that @Claire Owen and I consumed a total of 4 bottles on the flight...worth it, I think? Needed something to pair with the caviar and canapés. #EmiratesSuites #a380 #honeymoon — 9 years ago

The Prisoner Wine Company

The Prisoner Napa Valley Zinfandel Blend

Probably my most favorite! Not inexpensive at restaurants ($65-$76), but pairs so well with just about anything. Year after year it is consistently great. It's hard not to share it, but then you must keep multiple bottles in stock! — 11 years ago

Château Rauzan-Ségla

Margaux Grand Cru Classé Red Bordeaux Blend 1975

Nicely preserved couple of bottles, opened up just nice after 20 minutes in a decanter. Tightly reduced nose at first, revealed its complex underwood, cigar box, kirsch flavours after a while. The palate was thin almost fragile but still balanced, on the alcohol, acidity and well polished tannins. Very good surprise for a 38 y.o. wine (except for the tricky cork :) — 13 years ago

Opus One

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2005

Silky blackberry and black cherry. Mild tannins and acidity. Very nice, but I think a bit overrated. One could purchase two bottles of comparable wine--and probably more interesting to the taste buds--for the same price. — 9 years ago

Château Musar

Bekaa Valley Red Blend 2005

Always amazing wine. Never been disappointed in the dozens of bottles over the years. 05 is true to style and will only get better over the next 20+ yrs — 11 years ago

Perfect after extracting the crumbly cork. Perfect balance at peak I only have two more bottles of this. — 13 years ago

Château Lafite Rothschild

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 1995

Probably the most expensive bottles of wine I've ever tasted at $750 a bottle. 1995 Lafite-Rothschild, Pauillac. First Growth! — 13 years ago

La Rioja Alta

Reserva Viña Ardanza Rioja Tempranillo Garnacha 2001

Absolutely amazing...only a few more bottles left. — 9 years ago

Marchesi Antinori

Tignanello Toscana Super Tuscan Blend 2012

The few bottles of 2012 I drunk this week confirms another great year for Tignallo. Quite in line with the 2010 and 2011. — 10 years ago

Just got an email about the Coravin and it sounds amazing. Is it working as easily as it is described? Sounds like the greatest invention ever!

Doing a review of it. No conclusions as of yet.

Keep me posted if you don't mind. Want to buy one but want to ensure it actually does what they say it does.
