Picked up for $19 in VT, great fruit, well rounded bottle, lots of very pleasant red fruit.

Everyone could say it must be Burgundy! It’s a footprint of california-made wine that a faint oak vanillas. Cherry, cranberry, very elegant aromas and flavors. — 6 years ago

Opened 1998when power went back on in Sonoma! Wow this was solid. Well kept with mid neck ullage, dark plum no brick colors of oxidation. As you would expect a earthy woody old Bordeaux nose, soft tannins but still strong 19 years on. After an hour open and decanted this was wonderful. — 8 years ago

There's a majesty and respect in a 19 year old #champagne While I would say it was time to drink this teenager, I loved the confit lemon and honey notes and a hint of acidity to finish off. Nice. — 10 years ago
$19, Flatiron Wine & Spirits, spicy and fruity — 12 years ago
Garnet colour, rich and powerful showing no visible signs of age even after 18-19 years. Nose is great blend of oak, blackcurrant, cedar, sandalwood and light menthol. Palate is packed with initial fruit and balanced, acidity and tannin. Finish is pleasantly dry with lingering perfume and light smoke. I’m no expert but I think this will evolve much further even though it is very enjoyable now. Have to mention again that this looks like it was bottled yesterday, so clean and vibrant. — 5 years ago

One of my favorites — 6 years ago
This 19 year old Napa Red is just awesome. So delicious, with great complexity and ample black fruits on the mid palate. Showing a great mouthfeel at this point.
Needs 2 hours to open up properly and bring out all that complexity, but it is drinking very nicely right out of the bottle as well.
Powerful, balanced and juicy. Just perfect and delicious!
A blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 6% Petit verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec.
Thanks Mike for sharing this gem with me.
