Délicieux! 13 Alsatian grape varieties blended to perfection. A pretty pleaser for the price. — 6 years ago
This is a really good wine! It is super balanced and has aromas like stewed plums, black cherry, and some spice. Very fruity! I only my paid $13 but later saw the same bottle for $21. Worth the higher price tag but an amazing deal at $13! Gonna stock up! — 7 years ago
Wow this 11 is up there with 09 for me @ £120 & less subtle than 10 & 13 - my kind of Sass 93-95 going 96-98 👏 20yrs in this beauty 😍

Jammy fruity and delicious. Buy 2, 1 is not enough. — 9 years ago
Refreshing, off dry white with just the right touch of fizz. Best $13 value in several months. Nicer on day 1 chilled. — 9 years ago
Wonderfully balanced with an appealing cassis, blackberry, loam, cedarwood character. Very persistent on the palate. Long finish. From magnum. Young approachable now, but would love to revisit in 5 years! 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc; 13% alcohol — 9 years ago

Not the best gruner veltliner, not as sparkling, or full bodied, but i nice dry acidic flavor — 6 years ago
Gordons Čhanin tasting 6/13/17. $45. #7. Like 2013 but more fruit notes and good finish. Lively and very new world in a good way. Complexity underneath and could age well. Softer than '13 and seemed older. — 7 years ago
This wine will set you down in the middle of a candle lit heurigen, listening to a waltz whist surrounded by the Austrian Alps of the summer season. — 7 years ago
Bigger and darker fruit than expected. Heavier on the palette than the '13 I'd recently had. Finish of licorice. — 8 years ago

Fresh and crisp. Fruity, but not overwhelmingly so. Really nice, light white. — 9 years ago

Gordons Chanin tasting 6/13/17. $43. #5. nose that's balanced and great mouth feel and structure and great long finish. Minty hints. Like 2013. — 7 years ago
Wonderful nose of dark fruit, oak and cinnamon. Fantastic tastes of blueberries, blackberries, cassis, baking spices and oak. A bold wine with solid tannins that are still working to put on silk gloves. This is a blend of grapes from all 15 AVA's in Napa back in 2010. Probably has another decade or more in terms of optimal bottle life. Steve Reynold's at his best. — 7 years ago
Pear, lime and white peaches are a bit overshadowed by GV's classic peppery complexion. Grassy notes of fennel stocks, white pepper, and green tea fill in where the gripping acidity leaves off. A touch of effervescence doesn't hurt either. — 8 years ago
Wow. This is really fantastic. Straight Rye Whiskey. — 9 years ago
Seminal Napa-- still youthful with bountiful juicy plum-like fruits, and a touch of perfectly integrated oak. I like these wines so much more under 13% abv. — 9 years ago

Wow, this really blew me away. Upon opening, lots of tertiary aromas - cedar, leather, rich earth - which gave way after decanting to a beautiful and pure fruit expression. Wild raspberries & ripe red cherries, both a touch funky, crunchy and mineral. Baking spice, dried leaves, and some green steminess are there too. Great fruit-driven acidity with integrated silky tannins. Drinks like something much much younger than it’s 13 years. I’m there with people who are saying this is Burgundian. Elegant and complex, will definitely be grabbing some more! — 6 years ago
