My first Japanese whiskey bottle courtesy of the Maki clan. Outrageously good stuff. Can't wait for my next Japanese bottle! Really elegant, balanced, complex stuff — 12 years ago
Smooth, not too sweet, more cabernet-y than Merlot-y. Bought at Specs <$20 — 13 years ago
So subtle - dried orange peel, potpourri and creamed corn - a delight, thank Hugh — 7 years ago
De li Ci o Us !! ... Great Tempranillo. Beautifully balanced. Low acidity and gentle tannin. Ripe strawberry, plums, prunes, leathers, licorice, tobacco... I would give this wine a higher rating if the “after taste” was somehow more interesting... Still, this is an Amazing Tempranillo wine that wouldn’t leave anyone indifferent. — 8 years ago
My go to scotch. Much bolder on the finish than blue and gold. Full bodied mouth feel and robust flavor. — 10 years ago

Earthy and complex. Reminded me of wet dirt...in the best way. — 12 years ago
Dark plum color. Uninteresting nose. Plum flavors. Sweet, but not cloying. Light balanced tannins and acidity. Full flavor without being heavy. Very easy to drink. I really like this wine. — 12 years ago

Let it breath! After that this wine is light to begin with and finishes with a very tasty woodsy, oaky berry touch. Smells like crayola crayons! Love it! — 11 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Wow, a Fav! Had another bottle about 7 mos ago. Blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah & Grenache and aged for 10 months on French oak (40% new). A deep red color with aromas of black fruits and sweet spice. On the palate, ripe plums, jammy blueberries and sweet cherry with slight oak and vanilla spice, pours like syrup. Lingering finish, good length allowing the soft tannins to open in your mouth. Good structure, ending with pure fruit and dash of minerality, drinks well now. Produced with 12 different labels. Wow! — 7 years ago
