I completely forgot to post this. My brother from another mother Kirk Alexander uncorked these 2 Absolutely Phenomenal 100 point beauties for us to enjoy just because I came over!!!!!! ! Damn., I’ve got to go to his house more often!!!!!! All kidding aside., we were celebrating Veronica’s (his beautiful wife) birthday and what a truly special Evening.it was. There’s nothing better than uncorking a special bottle with friends that have become like family.

2010 vintage. From Jay. Bartolo Mascarello - Brief Note from Galloni Historical Retrospective Held in London April 26, 2016. Somewhat closed on the nose but nonetheless expressing black fruits, a little menthol and cracked black pepper. Somewhat reductive. Good attack. Lots of fruit and quite lush across the palette. Super-weird bottle. Mid-shoulder, crumbly cork, and the colour of freshly pressed strawberry juice - extremely pale as slightly cloudy! The immediate scent was quite off-putting but after 30 minutes it stormed back! Scents of autumn mulch, burning vine roots, sour cherries, and raspberry compote. A weird sourness and heady acidity on the front of the palette but it still keeps together well. Clearly badly kept but still really interesting to drink! A true testament to The quality of Mouton under the stewardship of the late Baron. I wonder if this is what some of the better kept bottles might be like in 100 years' time!? — 10 years ago
This is as good as Bordeaux gets. Pure perfection in a glass and got even better with an hour+ in the decanter. Wonderful earthy notes, Forrest floor, leather, spice, faint menthol and bell pepper, floral, cigar and some dark fruits finished with the kiss of God and a drop of angel tears. One of the few wines I've ever had that I would rate 100 and an epic experience. — 10 years ago

Цвет густой, темно-рубиновый. Вяленое мясо, ростбиф, сушеные черные ягоды, слива, соус ткемали, чуть пикантный, полный. В развитии становится легче и ягоднее - малина, шелковица, ежевика.
