2011 Vintge. One of the finest wines I've ever had. Lots of earthy flavors going on, including truffles, leather and tobacco. Even a tiny hint of licorice, but in a good way. Perfect balance of fruit and tannin as well. Just wish I could afford it more often. My special occasion wine. — 9 years ago

This is a much more subtle sauvugnon blanc than a lot of the American ones I've tried which can sometimes be a little overwhelming with overdone grapefruit flavors. This is more mineral forward. Not that those arent nice sometimes but this is a nice change of pace. Very drinkable with food or by itself. — 9 years ago
