Incredibly complex and beautiful wine. Enjoyed over the course of a cooking class and the flavors evolved so much throughout the evening it blew me away. What a pleasant surprise. An outstanding Spanish wine at an Italian restaurant! Red fruits and plums on the palate, with very pleasant tertiary notes (earth and mushroom) on the beautiful and lengthy finish. Soft, round tannins. Very reminiscent of a Brunello, but a little more delicate. Highly recommend! — 8 years ago

Delicious. Black cherry, plum and dark chocolate on the nose with a hint of vanilla. Good acid with soft, smooth tannins. Black cherry with slightly more prominent red fruits on the palate, with vanilla, cigars, and dark chocolate on the finish. Excellent value and delicious with a shrimp fra diavolo.
