Enjoying in honor of our 10 month anniversary. Same wine we had day I bought Al's wedding ring. Nice smoke to it.
I generally don't like a lot of Merlots...this one I LOVE. It's still smooth, but also complex - a brooding Merlot? Could it be?!

Totally agree. I have been on a Tempranillo kick of late. Nice amount of fruit and good structure. Truchard never disappoints.

Hint of barnyard that grows into intense licorice on the nose. Less bite and more complex than usual Tempranillo, but opened nicely with food pairing. A just fine choice for the price. — 10 years ago
