This is the 2012. I'm having to recycle the 10 as I missed photographing the 2012 label. On the nose, strong dark florals, red dry roses, plum cake, black plum, black raspberries and lavender. On the palate, blackberries, black plum, black raspberries, blueberries, dry medium tannins, good tarry character, licorice, derby crushed rocks, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, black cherry cola & plenty of leather. Finishes with ripe, round fruits, good acidity and very dry & sticky tannins.

Dark ruby with low viscosity; the nose is quite intense with oak domination, black pepper, meat and mineral notes; the taste is young and fruity with high acid and low alcohol (12.5) and had a tight tart finish. Perhaps a few more years would improve some aspects, but the hopes are not too high for this one.
