Excellent expression of the grape. Totally different from a South American Malbec. The fruit was subdued and the usually secondary notes of tobacco and spice came to the fore. Such complexity that unfolded across the palate, ending with a slightly dusty tannin finish. Great stuff.

Spiced plum with hints of cedar. Finishes with some dusty tannins. Excellent expression.
