Graves meets Switzerland. Love this wine. Pungent nose of mystifying alpine scents. Greengage, grass, hay, wild flowers. Some grapefruit. Yellow not pink. Such purity to the aromas. Smells like you outside in the cleanest Swiss field ever. Palate is massive, concentrated and so pure. Tiny berry fruit intensity. Fruits are apple, apricot and some gooseberry. So textured. Rich but light on its feet. Great acids and structure. Long finish. Grassy on the palate as well with such distinctive minerality. This will likely benefit from 2-3 years of age.

Riehen le petit sauvignon (sauvignon blanc).

Nose: wow. Yeasty. Briochy. Almost like champagne. There is something very complete about this.

Palate : dense. Rich. Good acidity. Amazing wine. Maybe the best sauvignon blanc I’ve ever had.
