G-Max Rheinhessen Riesling

One of the most layered wines I've ever had. Dried pineapple, yellow stone fruit, white flowers and pure stone. This G-Max is not a "In your face" wine. It needs time in the glass and gets better & better with time. Incredible balanced & elegant with (again) a shitload of stone components on the palate. I just miss the last kick of power on the back-end. A truly great wine and surely one of Germanys best Rieslings. Nevertheless the price point is ridiculous. The Abtserde is not so much "weaker" than the G-Max.

Yeah. It's all dat. Unicorn Riesling. Extremely rich, honeyed nose, silky nutty orange peel dried honey dried pineapple and a gorgeous minerality. Supposed to be dry but there's a faint sweetness.
