Centgrafenberg Frühburgunder "J" Trocken

Wow this has gotten glorious and turned the corner. Deep ripe mid to late season cherries. Spice. Violets, raspberry cake. The nose is elite and expressive. Wow. Citrus as well. More like tangelo zest. Acid is fierce as this is 2010 and this is amazingly fresh and has lovely sweetness and grip. Perfect balance and terrific purity. Awesome. This is really showing well. This has a decade to go. Just wonderful.

Classic Frühburgunder nose of violets and spice. Sour red cherries, burnt leaves, very floral after aeration with stunning mineral notes. Incredibly fragrant. Lovely soil tones as well. Striking. Palate has loads of acidity and terrific sweet fruit but it is too young. That 2010 acidity will ensure a long life. Think 1996 red burgs. Incredible explosive tiny berry fruit intensity. Nose is rocking now but palate needs 2-3 years or 2-3 hours in a decanter.

Wow. Fruh me. Sick aromas. Bright, spice, violets, almost Vosne-like. Very pretty palate with an overload of sweet fruit and complex soil tones. Super concentration. Lovely furry tannins on the long expansive finish. Impressive.
