Darker gold in colour. Mineral, maybe even petrolly, nose. Subdued apricot, paraffine, floral nuances, some hazelnut, saffron, tobacco and mushroom too. Hint of orange-peel-bitterness in the mineral-driven finish. Seems a little more mature than anticipated. Don't get me wrong, I like it. But I kept wondering whether this has evolved too quickly (premox) or is this stuff extremely marked by the terroir and the choices of the winemaker...?
