Apr 1st, 2021You can tell this is made by a Cali Cab producer. This is thick and the nose dark and brooding: dark fruit, big hit of white pepper. Even after 2 days and a few hours in an open bottle the tannins are grippy and acidity sharp. Palate isn’t much different with dark red fruit and loads of white pepper, some tartness, raspberry seeds. This needs plenty of time and may reward.
