Very similar aromas to Penfolds Magill Estate with that soft rose and candle wax on the nose. Mellow but with substance, the soft waxy rose is carried through with excellent cherry and luscious sweet fruit. Not intensely bold but very enjoyable indeed.

Cinnamon and a little leather/hay/barnyard on the nose. Big tannins, with plum, blackberry, leather and earthy flavors. Done in 20% american oak, which I found uncommon in Western AU.
