May 5th, 2018Fuck yes! This is so delicious. Nose is dripping with sweet grapefruit, key lime, mango skin, peach, creme brûlée, lees, toast and citrus blossoms. Palate is very complex. Juicy ripe citrus, stone, and tropical fruit up front, moving to crushed rocks, verbena, seamless oak. There's considerable grip, phenolic character and loads of extract. The mid-palate weight and length are insane. Lots of ripping acid driving the wine. Reminds me of Dagueneau but with more flare and opulence.
