Gorgeous label and a GG, how could I go wrong? This was our 6th wine during our Germany/Austria/Italy wine and skiing tour. Nose was delicious green melon and lime, relatively weighty in the mouth and rich. But what was missing was the acidity I'd expect. As a result, while the wine had no big faults it certainly wasn't GG wow. The Wagner Stempel riesling we had earlier kicked its butt.
