Had great opportunity to pull a bottle of 2005 of this from my cellar. Initially the nose was chocolate, dark fruit, raspberry. Good, smooth mouth feel, dark fruit, raspberry, blueberry, fruit stayed through Finnish, faded dry mouth feel on Finnish. Light tannins. Nose, fruit, faded to red raspberry, thinned with time in glass. Great with steak dinner and chocolate brownies.

Aug 24th, 2017Drink now!! Give this some time to open up and it might just blow you away. A nice semi-tannic berry-filled forward. Lots of blackberry and dark fruit with a slight mint and peach on the long finish.
