Unusually thin on fruit and vanilla, both in the nose and palate. Acetone, straw, and lemon rind on the nose. Celery, watercress, and bitter peach flavors. Still clearly an RRV chardonnay, but exceptionally lean, crisp, and steely eyed. It's the Max Zorin of chardonnays.
