Too tightly wound at first. Had to decant and then the true aromas & tastes came out of this inky purple gem!

An Argentinian 2012'made my Paul Hobbs. Dark red almost black in color. You would think this wine has big fruit but it really does not. The oak over powers this wine and the spice notes make you thing it's a petite Syrah blend. Over time this wine should hopefully mellow.

Stepping out of my California pallet tonight and just ordered this for dinner. Fits my taste perfectly deliciously bold dry beginning to end.
