Had the pleasure of meeting the wine maker in person. He's a true artist! This 80% merlot, 20% cabernet savingon blend is harvested from clay soil and has no chemical pesticides. It's aged in concrete, so no oak but also none of the overt brightness that some stainless steel aged wines have. A beautiful rosy nose with lots of earthy berries. It's very clean and smooth without being too sweet. Wild strawberries and some green apple in the finish. Wonderful wine.
