Apr 15th, 2018In honor of Super Bowl Weekend decided to open this terrific red blend from Dick Vermeil Wines. Loads of dark fruit flavors, wonderful nose. Definitely a pop & pour. One of the best wine buys in my book.

The wine opens up easily. It has a nice bouquet of violets. On the tongue it is a pleasing blend of earth, baking spice, clove, black current, ripe berries, and saddle leather. The wine is balanced enough to withstand the alcohol. I think Dick is a better winemaker than coach.
