Dark ruby color with a few purple highlights. Aromas of ripe black fruit, eucalyptus, purple flowers and sweet baking spices. Flavors of blackberry, dark plum, cassis, dark chocolate, sweet spices and fresh herbs. Just a hint of graphite but loaded with oak. Medium-plus finish, acidity and body. Velvety tannins. Very fruit forward and powerful, but also a bit chunky and out of balance.
