Smells of absolute deliciousness. The nose of a wine you know will make you happy..

First time trying the entry level wine from this awesome producer, and pretty happy with the results. Fruit cometh! Blackberry, pomegranate, hints of subtle eucalyptus, wispy tannins, that hold up to, and help the bright, polished fruit integrate extremely well.

Sipping Fine Wine

I recently review the 2016 Angels’ Share Shiraz, however the Gnarly Dudes packs a bigger punch. Deep and dark purple color with aromas of fresh blue/red fruits with spicy notes. The palate revealed rich ripe fruits, plum and blueberry with firm tannins and acidity to match. I noted some cacao, toasty oak, vanilla and black pepper on a lingering finish. If you open a bottle, give the wine a few minutes to let it approach it’s beauty.

Very solid and classic Barossa Shiraz. Shiny acidity that helps to balance the abundance of dark fruit

This wine is not trying to hide anything. It’s big and bold and beautiful. It tastes of the earth, but offers sophisticated characteristics. I’d eat this with a big juicy rare NY Strip Steak and be a very happy guy.

Blackberry and espresso flavors dominate. Lush and syrupy with a long peppery finish. A typical in your face Gnarly Dudes, fruit-forward but not lacking in interest.
