Interesting but too much botrytis character

This is not the Vendages Tardive

Orange and lemon zest on the nose. Huge in the mouth. Best of the 96s I've tried. Better with 4 hrs of air.

A ton of Granny Smith. Thick and rich. Great wine!

The sommelier assured me all their bottles had been issue free up to this point. Happy to say the streak continues. No sherry just petrol and mushroom on the nose. In the mouth tropical fruit, baked apple and some tea like flavors all riding a nice wave of acid. Wonderful complexity along with a substantial finish. Have not had enough experience with this wine to opine on what stage of evolution.

Mind-blowing. Petrol and floral and still so youthful at nearly 20 yrs. a real treat.

Such bright acidity! Couldn't believe it was 20 years old. It still tastes youthful and vibrant!
