Neprica Puglia Negroamaro Blend

I actually found a 2012, very inexpensive. Fruity, super drinkable and goes well with a sharp sheep cheese. This will be a regular!!

Nice little table wine - inky opaque berry aromas generous dusty spice mid-weight nice feel to it w/some acidity carrying it all thru finish

I've never had a Neprica which refers to the 3 grapes that make up the blend: Negroamaro, Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a full bodied wine with a ruby red color.

Kind of like dirty, old rubber boots with a handful of blackberries and current.

I really appreciate that this is a red wine that is light and easy. Fruity and easy to drink. I would absolutely recommend it to others!

Thoroughly enjoyed this wine. Fruit forward and refreshing. Worked will as a spring patio pounder. Will certainly be trying more wines of Puglia

Jammy! ...but a bit too much alcohol.

This was surprising. Inexpensive, readily available, and...pretty darned good. Decent acid, and that made the dark fruit flavor noticeable, but not overwhelming. Nice licorice hit at the "back end".
