Hmm, on the downslope imo, relative to my last btl (3 years ago); this is btl 4 of 6. On the nose: raspberry, plum, vanilla, allspice. On the palate, this is relatively flat, with red raspberry, brown sugar and more vanilla. There is a touch of tannic grip on the finish, but it is largely attennuated. While there is no real secondary, this seems like it has lost some vigor. Possibly bottle variation, but these wines were disjointed to start...

Meh. I remember not really caring for this when it was released and it did not age as well as I would have hoped. It does get better the longer it sits out, the complexity on the back palate grows. Has softened and smoothed out. Overall decent.

Getting better with time, but this wine never reached it potential, despite the pedigree of the producer and the vintage. Savory red fruits and solid supporting structure, but lacking the subtle complexity of the best of Oregon Pinot.

Drinking nicely but will do better over next 3-5 years.

Did not really care for it when it was first opened. I recommend decanting for a few hours minimum. It tasted more like a Pinot to me on day two.

Nearly unapproachable at first, but much better on day two. Not a Pinot style that is compatible with the grape.

1st release from Chris Figgins of Figgins Family Estate and Leonetti Wines! One of the 3 best PNs I have ever tasted! Flawless, perfect balance and fruit. Grapes from Eola-Amity and Ribbon Ridge AVAs. Not your typical Oregon PN
