Drank 9\26\20. Very nice with Rigatoni Bolognese.

Nose of red cherry, earth, and some clove. Flavors of red cherry and soil backed by medium plus drying tannins. Finish is fairly long, dominated by red fruit and dry tannins.

Yum! Loved this Chianti Classico. Paired wonderfully with a spaghetti pie. Smell of cherry, taste of plum and a dark ruby red color.

Used this for cooking and then to drink with the meal. Since I used the same wine in the sauce it paired beautifully.

Color is light and clear with bloody grapefruit, ruby, and copper tone. Nose of good aldehyde, strawberry, spice, powerful alcohol in the nasal cavity, plum, and touch of oak. Taste of ample acidity and zest, refined sweetness, softened tannins, a tiny bit peppery and black tea, strawberry, and some more rind. Aftertaste is pretty good, medium long with some more peppery note. Good quality refreshing Chianti Classico.

Ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas of cherry, earthy, oak, plum, tar, and violet. Medium-plus body; firm, medium-plus tannins; and medium-plus acidity. Bright cherry and subtle earthy on the palate with a medium-length finish. 100% Sangiovese. Not as impressive as the 2015 vintage (at the time of tasting), but still approachable. Another year or two would improve it and show off its character.

Covid quarantine continues and the wine still flows. Paired with a free form lasagne made from scratch. Mmmmmm
