Decided to break open this Brunello tonight, after having a 2015 Argiano last night. This one is super rich with dark cherry, chocolate, and spice aromas. On the bud, the cherry notes continue to come out with cedar/oak notes and subtle spice notes. It velvety smooth with mild tannins and a nice long finish. Great with our steak and kale salad. Looking forward to tasting it with our chocolates later. This one is by far the winner of the two wines. I still have 6 more bottles in the cellar and can’t wait to see how it continues to evolve. — 5 months ago

Dinner at Suraya Lebanese place first time. With Yuki and Jeff. 12 years old Dragon year proud cycle and it’s still got time to age. Beautiful balanced Chianti that evolved in glass over the dinner. Paid corkage instead of ordering from just though it did have interesting wines including from Lebanon. — 2 months ago
