This is #Syrah on high mode. Like a Syrah IPA. Danky, plummy, ripey jammy and yet more balanced and unique than his Tensley vineyard version (which is pure residual sugar) if you ask me. I like Joey’s wines because they are brass balls. No excuses.

Jammy, bright red fruit, tannins really complement this wine. Heavy mouthfeel makes this best when paired with food. Yet still enjoyable alone if you like jammy syrahs.

Haven’t had this in a while. Blackberry, spice, made me think Australia for a minute. Little jammier from what I remember, but my palate has changed. Could of given it a little more air.
