Very nice! Best vintage out of the ‘08, ‘09, and ‘11 even though they all scored roughly the same. Started to fade after an hour, but had nice depth with dark fruit.

Dense, chewy, and layered with dark fruit and minerality.

Super ripe and rich (too much for me, but hard to argue the richness and purity), for lovers of super ripe CC Syrah, long finish, very pure flavor profile!!

An absolute monster. At nine years old it is still crushing all in its path. Blueberry cobbler and hunks of leather pave the way to a big finish. Woof!

2010 Vintage. 15% Alcohol. Blackberry kirsch and graphite nose. Big fruitbomb of blueberries and blackberries. Nice legs and long finish. Nice to come back to Syrah after a few Pinot Noir days.

Blackberry and licorice on the nose, but it's the absence of oak that leaves this perfume so clean and simple. Manages to be more complex than anticipated, revealing layers of terroir that are integrated seamlessly, creating a silky texture that is the heart of this wine. Smoke and leather linger on the finish, but it's all so smooth I'm left savoring the last bite of white pepper and the essence of pure, unfiltered fruit.

2010 vintage. Last wine from a trip to that area 3 years ago.

Dark burgundy in color, smell of nail polish, sour cherry, strawberry and blue berry, firm tannin with medium to long finish, has a sweet after taste.
