Noticeably hot vintage. Honestly could have mistaken for a Mclaren Vale or Barossa Shiraz. Malic and minerality from Viognier

Even an astute som would think this was a 20+ year old Bordeaux in a blind tasting. The color is pigeon blood and the wine is perfectly balanced. The nose has lots of wet loam and minerality. On the palate this wine is mellow, well rounded and chewy with a hint of port wine flavor on the finish.
