Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 14%. Lovely limpid color. Intense nose, rhubarb, quinine, gentian, ripe black cherries, leather. In the mouth quite round, but still tannic and acidic. Taste of licorice roots, and good persistence. 87/100

Nice balanced Brunello for our combo Birthday and Father's Day family celebration

Dark garnet color. Nose of red and dried fruits (raisins, apricots), leather, fin spices and a hint of oak. On the palate it is quite enjoyable now and silky even if its structure can be felt. Dry fruits, leather, tobacco, old wood, a touch of spices and a good length. Beautiful wine that ask to be paired with grilled meat. Excellent (90)

Drank from a half bottle

Made of Sangiovese. Aged 30 months in 18 and 26hl oak barrels, with a small percentage in 500l barrels, then a year in bottle before hitting the shelves. Alcohol level of 14% #dansmonverre
