2010 vintage. At Hostellerie de Levernois in Beaune. Wow. What an amazing wine despite its youth. The colour is a bright medium ruby with sparkle. The nose is off the charts: violets, roses, dark cherries and plums, savoury spices - depth, concentration and complexity. The whole package. On the palate, stunning: high acidity, medium body and alcohol. Full integrated fine tannins. Full concentration and power, with elegance and finesse. Very very long. Drink now until 2036+. One of the greatest wines I have ever had.
